Relaxing massage with essential oils

This massage is characterised by the most classic manipulations, assisted by precious essential oils for a persistent aromatherapy effect.
It promotes relaxation and psychophysical wellness as well as lymphatic and blood circulation. It can also help relieve minor muscle ailments or various kinds of tension.
At the Grien SPA, it is available in 30, 45 or 60-minute sessions with precious essential oils for a pleasant aromatherapeutic effect.

Thai Massage or Passive Yoga

This ancient wellness practice traces its origins back thousands of years to the combination of the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and those of Indian Ayurveda.
Dressed in comfortable clothes and lying on a comfortable futon, you will be guided through a series of rhythmic sequences of pressure, twisting and stretching, practised with the aim of mobilising the whole body, removing energy blocks and balancing the four fundamental elements that every living being is made up of.
At Grien SPA, it is offered in its original and complete version, lasting 60 or 90 minutes for a deep relaxation effect, physical and mental well-being, vitality and strength.

Plantar reflexology

A holistic massage technique based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, popular and appreciated in the West for its many benefits.
According to these ancient principles, the foot is considered as a sort of mirror of the whole body: by stimulating and manipulating its different points and nerve endings, one acts ‘reflexively’ on the corresponding parts of the body, bringing benefit and balance to the whole organism.
The Grien SPA also offers a Thai version (Thai foot reflexology), lasting either 45 or 60 minutes, using a traditional wooden stick and preceded by a very pleasant foot bath with essential oils and aromatic infusions.

VODDER method lymphatic drainage massage

The Vodder method lymphatic drainage massage, named after a brilliant Danish physiotherapist who invented and studied the technique around the 1930s, is an extremely gentle, relaxing type of massage.
The manual techniques are harmonious, slow and rhythmic, and are performed with the aim of favouring the flow of skin and subcutaneous liquids towards the lymphatic stations, greatly benefitting the circulation and the immune system.
At the Grien SPA, it is offered in a 45-minute session, for a final effect of incredible lightness and psychophysical wellness.

Sound massage

A treatment that draws its principles from the ancient tradition of Tibetan bells and ancestral instruments, as well as from a truth on which physics and mysticism nowadays fully agree: we are all sound, because we are vibration.
The aim of this technique is to harmonise thoughts and organic functions through the use of ancient instruments (bells, gongs, bells…) which are made to vibrate close to the recipient’s energy points. The sounds produced by these instruments can penetrate very deep into every cell of our body, reaching where simple hand pressure cannot.
The benefits are important and long-lasting: help with deep breathing, easing anxiety and stress, self-awareness, and much more.
At Grien SPA it is offered in a 60-minute session, during which a deep empathic connection and a powerful energy exchange are developed between the practitioner and the recipient.
