What awaits you
Grien means “green” in the Sauran language, and the Grien SPA is our oasis of wellness immersed in a natural environment, on the edge of a beautiful pine forest.
You can swim in the swimming pool, relax in the saunas and steam baths, try holistic treatments and massages, read a good book while sipping a purifying herbal tea in the cosy wooden relaxation rooms or in the spacious solarium with a spectacular view of the forest.
At weekends, you will also find yoga, pilates or other meditative technique lessons as well as Aufguss for AISA-certified sauna masters. Moreover, you can continue your training programme at home in our fully- equipped gym.
Conditions of use
The Grien SPA awaits you in the Borgo dello Sport e del Benessere (Wellness and Sports Village), halfway between Sauris di Sotto and Sauris di Sopra, only a stone’s throw from the entrance to the Treinke campsite.
It is owned by the Municipality of Sauris and is open to both guests of the Albergo Diffuso Sauris multi-building hotel as well as to external guests.
Slippers and swimming caps are required for entry to the swimming pool area, while the wellness area, reserved for people over 16 years of age, is textile free: you enter the cabins without wearing a swimming costume and wrapped in a cotton towel.
Swimming costumes and swimming caps are always available at reception and towels can be hired. You will also find precious massage oils from Pà Mairlan alongside delicious herbal teas from Pà Mairlan and NaturPreitsh, which you can pack in your suitcase and take home to enjoy a little wellness when you return to the city.
Aufguss Day
During the weekend, Grien SPA, in co-operation with AISA (the Italian Sauna and Aufguss Association), organises Aufguss Days for its guests.
Discover the fragrant, choreographed Aufguss in the Finnish sauna as well as the delicious scrubs and savonage with essential oils in the Turkish bath (currently suspended due to Covid regulations). AISA-certified sauna masters will be on hand to introduce you to all the benefits of these time-honoured wellness practices.
